The HTC ChaCha is definitely a new generation smart phone that is facebook focused, probably as a result of the fact that mobile phone manufacturers have realized that social networking is a great selling point. This phone definitely caught my attention because of the facebook logo on its casing.
The phone also has a Qwerty keyboard that is easy to use as it comes in a comfortable width and you can easily use the thumb to type as you hold the device in your palm. The keyboard is also made in such a way that the keys are easy to locate and press even for those with chubby fingers. When you type you will hear a satisfying click sound making typing easy and more fun.
Another plus point for the HTC ChaCha is its small screen that helps its battery last longer than other batteries for smart phones. Most Android phones are made of large screens that consume a lot of power forcing users to charge their phones frequently. If used in moderation, the HTC ChaCha can last long enough. Like I mentioned earlier, the biggest selling point for this gadget is much talked about Facebook button, which is right under the keyboard making it quite accessible. I also loved the fact that this app is context sensitive in the sense that if you press it while viewing a video, it automatically prepares to upload that video onto facebook.
Pros
This gadget has an amazing QWERTY keyboard, long-lasting battery, ergonomic design and a handy facebook button.
Cons
I found the landscape screen a little problematic at some point. I was also disappointed that it had a limited flash support system in the browser. While the TC ChaCha takes sometime to get accustomed to, the Qwerty keyboard and facebook feature makes it an appealing device.
