Search facets and filtering are a great way to guide your user to the information they are looking for. With facets, we can create an intuitive way for users to narrow down the items that are visible on the screen

The WYSIWYG module in Drupal is a great way of integrating a client side HTML editor (better known as a WYSIWYG editor) into a Drupal site.

But, if you're writing a module that stores its data outside variables or entities, you might notice a few gaps.

Views offers the ability to expose filters to the end user so they may filter and sort through a views listing to find what they want in a large list of content.

it has been awhile since I have published a top modules list for Drupal so I thought with Drupal 8 coming out soon it was time for one last top Drupal 7 modules list. 

Entities are a big boon to Drupal, just that the learning curve is a bit longer than CCKs and nodes. I've read a lot about how these entities work but the more I read, the more complex they sound.
