ASUS is taking its work seriously. Just after seven months of releasing the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer, its successor the ASUS Transformer Prime is out in the market with a heavy dose of addicting functions.
The Transformer Prime is credited to be the first to house the Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core CPU. Slimmer than its most formidable opponent, the ASUS Transformer Prime is the official “size zero”. 0.33 inches deep and weighing 1.29 pounds, the Transformer prime is sure to be the most sought after.
Good looks plus appreciable camera plus great features plus the latest android app equals the Transformer Prime. Available in two very impressive combinations of Amethyst gray (gray and purple) and Champagne gold (silver and gold), the Prime is designed to resist water and oil; it is finger print resistant.
The Andriod 3.2 version Honeycomb is pre-installed in this Transformer, but is upgradable to the Ice Cream Sandwich. Docked with a USB port and an extra SD slot, the Transformer Prime includes 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi supports, a gyroscope, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and GPS.
Loaded with two cameras a 1.2 megapixel front camera and an 8 megapixel rear camera (2.4 aperture f) with LED flash, the Transformer Prime is one brilliant tabloid.
Gearing up to make itself heard, the Transformer Prime uses ASUS’ SonicMaster sound technology which is expected to deliver quality sound a notch above.
1GB of RAM, a microSD slot, Micro HDMI port, audio jack all orchestrate to create magic. Asus WebStorage, MyCloud, MyNet, File Manager, Asus sync, SuperNote and Polaris office will be the dream tablets pre-installed applications. Nvidia Tegra 3’s low power companion core can give the top brands in the market a run for their money and is claimed to have an 18 hour battery life.
Coming in a 10.1 inch display with a wide viewing angle; 1280×800 pixel resolution and in plane switching (IPS) the Transformer Prime will feature a “Super IPS” mode, which can turn up the brightness to 600 candelas per square meter, accounting for a better outdoor reading experience. The Prime is also promising a more responsive touch screen by decreasing the screen touch delay by 100 percent.
