b. About Client:

Our client is a digital lending company that is revolutionizing access to financial products for millions of emerging consumers in Indonesia. They have developed the first digital data-driven credit underwriting and risk assessment platform to process consumer loan applications and determine their creditworthiness using its mobile app. Established in late 2016, they deployed its lending platform in Jakarta and surrounding cities, and they are about to enter a hyper-growth period. Expansion to the rest of Indonesia is expected to complete within a year. Our client is based in Jakarta and is backed by leading venture capital firms in Indonesia and Singapore. 

2. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze and systematically approach requirements and bugs reported, always coming up with practical short-term and long-term solutions that minimize complexity and maximize value.
• Design and build software infrastructure using open source software or cloud services to allow transporting massive data inflow smoothly and make it available for machine learning-based underwriting and business intelligence.
• Develop and set up software and toolchains that will help the end-to-end evolution and scaling of their products.
• Passionate about automation and following ‘Infrastructure as Code.
• Include security, maintainability, reusability, and testability when developing software solutions and code reviewing.
• Factor Linux/Unix OS system internals, data storage, computing resources, and microservices in the produced software architecture.
• Identify things that can go wrong early but also investigate bugs reported in production.
• Apply and tailor software development concepts and best practices.
• Work well and closely with The Product team / Backend Engineers / QA engineers / Marketing team.

3. REQUIREMENT

• 3,5+ years of professional DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• Experience hands-on Infrastructure as Code abilities e.g. Terraform, Ansible Hashicorp vault.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools such as one (Jenkins, CircleCI, and GitHub Action)
• Familiar with monitoring tools such as EFK, Grafana & Prometheus, and Datadog.
• Ability to create scripts using Bash, Python, or other languages
• Experience with Django, Celery, Gunicorn, and Supervisor.
• Excellence in Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in database management, be it RDBMS, NoSQL, in-memory data storage, or big data infrastructure.
• Highly skilled in working on Linux-based OS and open-source IDE.
• Experience with containers, microservice architectures, and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS or Alibaba).
