True, Comprehensive Career Training
The DCO’s intensive online sessions, community engagement and independent hands-on projects are designed to provide IT-savvy people with a quick start and a clear path toward new careers in this opportunity-rich open source technology. A career in Drupal offers fulfillment, a nurturing professional community, and tremendous potential in a variety of niches in web development and design. Graduates of our in-person career training have a lot to say, and some interesting Drupal career stories.
Classes for the 2014 DCO start August 19, 2014 and run 12 weeks every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00pm to 4:30pm EDT (5:00pm - 8:30pm GMT). We’ll also meet less formally via Internet Relay Chats, have set instructor access hours; and always encourage ongoing virtual co-working and practical labs among students, alumni and instructors. DrupalEasy Academy also provides introductions to willing mentors during the course, and among potential intern host organizations and those students who meet internship standards.

Payment options are available through DrupalEasy Academy, and Florida residents, who have been or will soon be laid off, are unemployed or otherwise meet workforce program need-requirements may be eligible for training stipends through their local workforce board. (All Florida applicants seeking workforce assistance must have a complete registration to include resume and skill set information at Employ Florida. CareerSource scholarship eligibility will be determined through a separate process by CareerSource staff.)
